Trade Faire: William said club members could set up over the weekend, Feb. 7
& 8. The
faire is open to the public Feb. 13th thru the 16th. Will have a camp feed for campers
and settlers. William spoke of
various people coming, entertainers, musicians, new
preacher, some new vendors, 2 new food vendors. William and Kathryn will be on
The Good Morning Show to promote the Faire.
2004
Rendezvous: William now has enough barrels for the
water, Duane will do the
mowing. Looked at last year’s
schedule for the events, and decided to use the
same schedule as last year.
William spoke with Mrs. Bradley (Bradley’s Country
Store) to order meat for the rendezvous feed. She will order whatever we want at
just a little over wholesale price.
Music will be provided after the dinner. People
who have prizes for the raffle need to turn them in. Tickets for voo will be sold
after the meeting. The big prize
will be a pistol this year from Narragansett Arms.
They will also give to the club some discount coupons, and are giving
the club a
good deal on the pistol. William
requested that the club fly be loaned to be used at
the trade faire. Everyone agreed
that it was okay.
Old Business: Changing the meetings back to Thursdays was discussed. Meeting dates had
been changed to accommodate out of town members. Since there has been no
attendance by out of towners to these special quarterly meetings, it was
suggested to
return meetings back to Thursday.
Duane made the motion to move meetings back
to Thursdays and Jan seconded it.
All in favor.
The meeting adjourned at 7:40.
