JLR November 2004 minutes (draft)
The meeting was called to
order at 7:05.

October minutes were approved.

Secy. – Linda
Collins is getting out a little. Says
hello to everyone.
Treas. – Dave said the balance is
around $2500. Some still owe dues.
Plunders newsletter is out and was
snail mailed to everyone this time.
Sixty five were mailed. One was sent to Central Florida
Muzzleloaders
and Pat will email Dave
Whitewater’s address so I can be mailed to
them. Dave will email it to Bobby
Guris to post on website.
Old Business:
T-shirts – Charlie is wearing
his!! Charlie has t-shirts but did not
bring them this time. If
anyone wants to purchase one, just let him know.
Outdoor day: Several JLR members helped with the Youth
Hunting Field Day at Tall
Timbers.
They were Dave Anderson, Dave Ikenberry, Bob Pryor, Gary Tehan,
Duane Ashe, William Wilson, and John
Cole. JLR site was very popular at
this event. Comments were heard about not
many going to other booths as the
kids were interested in shooting at the JLR
site. About 60 kids attended.
Workday: Duane, Gary, William, Jan, Bob P., Lori
participated. Worked on the range.
Squirrel Camp: It was brought to everyone’s attention that
the shoot is scheduled for the
same weekend. It was decided to go ahead and have the shoot but at the voo
site instead of the shoot site. Pat will email and let everyone know. Also
that it will start at 12 instead of a 1 P.M.
John
Cole reported that he has squirrels that he will furnish for the camp.
BB will be here to oversee
everything. The club decided to order 2
hooters,
and can get more if needed. William has mowed some, and Duane will
finish it. Pat asked that everyone bring a finger food for Fri. evening and
suggested the club buy either a keg or
some cases of beer. Everyone agreed.
Southeastern: Charlie will have a staff meeting right
after the club meeting. Jan is working
on the bags. Charlie needs to talk to Jackie about cooking for the SE.
Gifts for baby: Dave Ikenberry who makes lanterns, made a
tiny one for Shawn and Lisa’s
baby, that will be put in the pack basket
that holds other pre-1840 items. It
sported a birthday candle inside. Everyone oohed and awed about it and
when Pat said, “I want one,” a lot of others chimed in saying the same
thing.
Duane mentioned that it would make a cute
Christmas tree ornament. The
Baby is due later this month. Pat said Lisa and baby are doing fine as she got
an email recently from Leroy.
