JLR  MINUTES (DRAFT) NOVEMBER 3, 2005

1.  Meeting called to order at 7:00 pm by Jackie Shaffer

Role Call: Ronald Dodd, William and Kathryn Wilson, Dave Ickenberry, Gary Tehan, Jan Wynan, Kenneth and Cathy Morris, Roger Whitt, Jackie and Johnny Shaffer, Charlie Powell, Jim Dembleker, Dave Anderson and Terry Healy.

Visitor: Pam Bradley 

October Minutes were approved.

Reports:

President: Jackie reported that she had good news and bad news.  The good news is I’m still kicking. The bad news is Jackie reported that if her health doesn’t improve, she will be stepping down as president of JLR in April.

Secretary: No report. 

Treasurer: Dave reported that dues are still slowly coming in.  He has written 2 checks since last meeting.  One was for $59.46 for a prize rifle not used by the Rendevous. Reported that $550 Carpenters Ins is due soon.  Reported he has $378 to be deposited.  Balance $1,239.13.

William reported he paid $34 for the plastic sheeting for meeting site.

Dave reported that he finally got the newsletter out and would try to do one quarterly.  Reported that he will be sending most of the newsletters through e-mail and would use USPS for members without an e-mail address.

OLD BUSINESS:

Squirrel Camp:

   BB will be in on Monday.
    Craig brought out 3 truck loads of wood.
    Duane has cleaned up the site and it looks great
    William has a splitter that can be used for more wood.
    Craig has a great schedule worked out for the camp - thanks Craig
   Hooters will be placed on Monday
   Water needs to pumped into the tank.

Work Weekend: No work weekend needed for this coming up weekend.

Clean up: Roger Whitt will clean up tonight.

December Work Day: December 11 will the a shoot and work day.  Work starts at 9:00 am

Youth Day: Cancelled 

Trade Faire: Still pending per William ( WILLIAM ANNOUNCED AT SQUIRREL CAMP THAT TRADE FAIRE IS ON) 

JLR Rendezvous 2006: 

Dave I. Reported that he might have the tickets for raffle available by Squirrel Camp.
Charlie will be doing the medallion design. (CHANGED TO JIM DEMBLEKER PER DAVE)
Kathryn W. will be in charge of the Women’s and Children’s Games
Bob P. - shooting range
Denny (will be asked) - Archery
Bobbin - Hawk and Knife
Jackie - Camp feed
Entertainment was discussed.  If anyone has any ideas please get in touch with Dave I.

December Get Together will be over New Years weekend at a camp out at Duane’s place.  Details later.
