JLR MINUTES, APRIL 6, 2006 (DRAFT)

Meeting called to order at 7:10 pm by President, Jackie Shaffer

Members Present: Jan Wynan, Jackie and Johnny Shaffer, Cathy and Ken Morris, Dave Ickenberry, Deni Bloomquist, Pat Powell, Dwayne and Lori Ashe, Dave Anderson, Bob Pryor, Gray Tehan, Dick Beene, and Buck Jackson.

Clean Up: Ken Morris

Minutes: March Drafted Minutes were changed to reflect that Joe and Ruth Py were approved for membership pending receipt of club dues.

Minutes were then approved.
      
President: No Report.

Vice President: No Report.  Deni B. turned in monthly shoot results.

Sec: No report.

Tresurer: Dave reported he had $200 to deposit and club balance would be $875.66.  All bills have been paid except $61.25 for filing with Sec. Of State, which will be done after officers are elected.

William reported that he was not able to obtain the copperware prior to the Southeastern and tickets for the raffle were not sold.  Club will purchase Smoke Pipe ordered from Edgar even though there will be no raffle and will be used at another time by the club.

 Old Business: 

 JLR 2007 Rendezvous: No report at this time.

 Election of Officers: New Officers Elected were:

     Dave Ikenberry - President
    Bob Pryor - Vice President
    Cathy Morris - Secretary
    Dave Anderson - Tresurer

Election of Board members was tabled until next meeting: Up for election are Deni, Jackie, William, and Ken.  
   
Southeastern: Gary reported that everyone had a great time.

 William gave an in depth detailed report (with sound effects) about the storms that came through the camp and how everyone pulled together and helped others. Wm stated that it showed how our group comes together and how we love each other and help each other.

 Jan reported on the Farkle results: There were 13 contestants and 8 were eliminated on the first night.  The winner was someone new to Farkle, Angela from Naples. 

 Leroy Sanders: A Get Well Card was passed around to be signed for Leroy who may be facing surgery.

 Dues: Dave brought up the fact the dues have stayed low in the past because we have been able to earn money for the club through a yearly raffle which was mainly worked by William and a few others.  He made a motion that dues be raised to $35 a year per family.  Pat seconded the motion.  After discussion Dwayne made a motion that dues be raised to $35 per family per year with the $10 late fee if not paid by June 1.  Deni seconded motion.  Motion carried.

 Moving archery targets was discussed.  Archery participants will participate in the move on next shoot day.

 By-Laws was discussed.  Jackie states she will bring copies to our next meeting.

 Meeting was adjourned.
